Retiring Adults for Adoption

We wish we could keep all of our pups but we cannot. In order to continue to improve our lines, we at times must rehome an adult. We look at each individual to see who would benefit from being placed in a one or two dog home. Every time we have to rehome one of our pups we lose a piece of our hearts. It is never an easy decision but we must do what is best for our dogs. Every one we have rehomed has gone to a loving home where they are loved and spoiled. These adult pups bring a special joy to their new owners.
We have found that the dogs we have rehomed in the past bond very nicely with their new owners. They are raised in our loving home and we make sure they go to loving homes. 
Since we know our dogs well, we can put them in homes we believe will work for them.
We are very careful about who our pups go to.

Kayleigh
​4 Years Old Spayed Girl

Kayleigh is a 4-year-old spayed girl up to date with her rabies and distemper. She is very special to us, and we had hoped to keep her forever. We cannot because she is having a hard time with the other girls. I know she would do so much better in a home with no other pets. She wants to be an only child. Kayleigh loves to be with her human 24/7. She wants to be held or be in your lap and basically just be near you. She is good about going in the car. We use a car seat for her. She has a lot of personality. She does like to mouth your hands because she is just so sure there is a treat in those fingers. I just tell her no and she licks instead. She does use a puppy pad most of the time especially if there is a treat involved. She loves treats and will do just about anything for one. I feel it would be great for her to be with someone who is willing to work with her. She is very trainable.
I will be extremely picky about who she goes to as this is truly breaking my heart. I have raised her since the day she was born, and she is very close to my heart. I am in tears as I write this. I just know in my heart she would do better and be happier being an only dog. If you have had experience with small dogs, you are home much of the time, and have a quiet home with no small children or other pets and are interested in adding a new friend to your life, please contact me.
